My logo has developed out of a lot of thinking, reading and talking about what great innovative teaching and learning really means. It's not just a pretty shape!

In our attempts to respond to contemporary challenges in education, we often forget just how much wisdom we have collected along the way. This is my attempt to gather together this wisdom and present it in a way that makes sense of the kinds of schools and learning communities that we would like to help to build.

 

The graphic below was informed particularly by the work of Robinson (2013), Joseph (2002), Taylor (2014), Nelson (2017) and the IB cycle of inquiry, action and reflection.
